Founder Culture

Trust & editorial standards

Built for discovery. Edited for trust.

Founder Culture is a trusted destination, not a fake directory. Here's how we keep it that way.

Our goal is useful discovery and authentic founder storytelling. That only works if you can trust what you find here — so we hold a real editorial standard for every business and story on the platform.

We review submissions

Every featured profile is reviewed by our editors before it's published. Nothing goes live automatically.

We label sponsored content

Sponsored placements are always clearly marked. We never pass off paid placement as editorial coverage or endorsement.

We don't publish fake businesses

Profiles must represent real businesses. We verify where we can and remove anything misleading.

Businesses can claim & update

Owners can claim their profile to keep details accurate and add a founder story.

Users can report incorrect info

Every profile has a way to flag mistakes. We investigate reports and correct what's wrong.

We avoid thin AI spam

We don't accept thin, AI-generated filler. Founder stories are edited for clarity and accuracy.

Sponsored content is labeled. Editorial picks cannot be bought.

Payment can cover profile production, promotion, newsletter inclusion, or a clearly marked sponsored placement. It cannot guarantee Founder of the Month, Founder Culture Pick, or any editorial endorsement. Paid outbound links are qualified appropriately.
